About David Blatner
I’ve been “doing” publishing and design for a long time—like, since the late 70s. And in all that time, of course I’ve seen the industry change, and people and software change, but there are some things that have never changed. I’d like to share with you several of my favorite timeless lessons I’ve learned over the years, in hopes that they’ll help you become more productive and do better work.
I (so humbly) call these “Blatner’s Three Rules of Design and Publishing”—though I really mean almost any kind of design or production, including print, apps, video, web, or even music. But because my professional focus is visual documents, I’ll concentrate on that.
